Rumor: No Xbox 360 Price Drop Because Of HD-DVD Bundle

The pattern of xbox 360 price drop rumors has been both consistent in both the regularity of their appearances, and the wild lack of accuracy contained within. We’re sure this next one will keep the trend alive, but we owe it to you to keep you informed of what’s what so you don’t have to read it off the bathroom wall.
Remember that $100 price drop that keeps coming up and Microsoft keeps shooting down? There’s a new twist, according to Gizmodo.
An anonymous source told the website that “insiders” say that the xbox 360 isn’t going to happen because Microsoft intends to bundle their new HD-DVD with new Premium consoles. And no, not bundle as in internal, just bundle as in they’re selling the system and the external HD-DVD drive together. Other whispers say that it’s going that the price different will be minimal or no change at all.
