Xbox 360 Elite Better Value Than PS3?

Now that xbox 360 Elite has been announced for $479, and we already know that PS3 costs $499 for the 20GB unit and $599 for the 60GB, which is the better value?
One could make the argument that even though we pride ourselves on objectivity, we’re inherently biased towards Microsoft’s console. So we’ll leave it up to other experts.

This number declines sharply if next-gen disc formats (subtract $199.99) aren’t a priority to you as a consumer, or if consumers have no interest in wireless connectivity (subtract the cost a WiFi solution — $79.99-$99.99 of the solutions we listed).
